Nubia is one of the participants at the ongoing World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai, China, and on display at its booth is its upcoming smartphone, the NaviX Ultra. Touted as the world's first AI agentic smartphone, Nubia has shared real life photos on its Weibo page ahead of the phone's release. It has also announced that the phone has won the SAIL (Superior AI Leader) excellence award.
The images show the NaviX Ultra in Black, Blue, and Pink, and Silver, which are the four colors it has been confirmed to launch in. All four have an orange AI button on the right side, just below the power button. However, only the Black and Pink versions have their camera islands matching the rest of the phone's color.
In addition to the images, Nubia has also uploaded a promotional video of the phone which you can view here. There's also a hands-on video shared by the Chinese tech publication, CNMO.
Nubia is keeping the specs of the phone a secret, save for the confirmation that it will come pre-loaded with ByteDance's Doubao AI. However, according to an ITHome report, leaked specs of the phone mention it has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 50MP primary rear camera paired with an ultrawide angle camera and a telephoto camera; a 50MP front-facing camera; and a 7,000mAh battery that charges at up to 90W/100W (wired and wireless).
Since there's no official confirmation, it is advised that the details above are taken with a grain of salt.
